How I handle your information.

Overview

This policy covers glenrieta.com, operated by Glen Rieta, based in Batangas, Philippines. It applies to anyone who visits this site or submits the contact form.

Information I collect

If you use the contact form, I collect the name, email address, and message you provide. That information is sent directly to my inbox by email. It is not saved to a database on this site, and I don't maintain a mailing list or add anyone to marketing emails from a form submission.

Like most websites, this server automatically logs standard technical information for every visit: your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is normal web server behavior, handled by my hosting provider, and isn't used to identify you personally.

How information is used

The only reason I collect contact form information is to read and reply to your message. That's it. I don't sell, rent, or share it with anyone for marketing purposes.

Third parties this site relies on

• Google Fonts: this site loads typefaces directly from Google's servers, which means your browser sends a request to Google (including your IP address) to fetch them.
• Cloudflare: used for security and performance. Cloudflare may set a small number of cookies strictly needed to keep the site secure.
• Hostinger: my hosting provider, which processes standard server logs as described above.
• iCloud (via FluentSMTP): contact form emails are delivered through my own iCloud account, the same way any email you send me would be.

This site does not currently run analytics or advertising trackers of any kind.

Data retention

Contact form emails are retained in my inbox for as long as I personally keep them, the same as any other email I receive. Server logs are retained according to my hosting provider's standard practices, typically a short rolling window.

Your rights

If you're in the Philippines, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) gives you the right to be informed about how your data is processed, to access it, to correct inaccuracies, to object to processing, to request erasure where applicable, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

If you're contacting me from outside the Philippines, including the EU or UK, you can still ask me directly to tell you what information I have from you, correct it, or delete it. Reach out using the details below.

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
